Great bustards are emblematic birds of the steppe between Mértola and Castro Verde. They are not always easy to find. This search benefits from the presence of those familiar with their most common locations and the routes to get there.

Dates: Available between October and June, subject to scheduling.
Duration: Half-day (4 hours) or full day
Location: Castro Verde and Mértola
Type: Driving tour with some stops for walking.
Participants: Suitable for everyone ages 6 and older. 1 to 4 participants.
