Between April and June, on dates to be chosen, our spring tour through the interior of Portugal combines birdwatching in protected areas, overnight stays in rustic yet comfortable houses in historic villages with castles, and contact with traditional Portuguese cuisine, in an adventure that is not only ornithological but also cultural, discovering the essence of deep and rural Portugal.

Sortelha will be one of our places to stay; we will also see this castle which, in times past, defended the border.
