Searching for the Iberian lynx in the Guadiana Valley

We are now ready to take on the challenge of proposing a hike of approximately 6 km, through an area densely populated by lynxes.

Being wild animals, it won’t be easy to spot them. We will certainly see the tracks of their passage, the places and environments in which they move, hunt, and breed. We will hear the shrill call of the green woodpecker, lots of rabbits and partridges, perhaps an imperial eagle surveying the skies and land. With a lot of luck, we might even see a lynx, but it will never be certain.

We will hike during the first or last three hours of the day, and certainly, we will fully experience the landscape, horizons, and emotions.
